SOUTH FLORIDA — 24-year-old Bogacski Thomas and Tavarus Ballard, also 24 have been charged with human trafficking, lewd or lascivious battery on a child between 12 and 16 and deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution.

The met the 16-year-old girl in early January after she ran away from home. They forced the girl to sleep with over two dozen men per day and used the money to pay for hotel rooms and drugs.

The Miami-Dade State Attorney says the men kept the girl extremely intoxicated by giving her Molly, cocaine and marijuana. They would also put drugs in her food and lace her cigarettes, NBC Miami reported.

“That is a man every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at night. Only to repeat itself the next day and the next day,” the Attorney said.

When the victim would attempt to run away, they would severely beat and threaten her.

The suspects could spend life in prison under new human trafficking laws in Florida.
