1 Dead After SUV Slams Into Long Island AT&T Store, Customers Lifted Vehicle Off Victim

    GREAT NECK, New York — Northern Blvd. —

    The victim, a 66-year-old woman was pronounced dead after a RAV-4 SUV crashed into a AT&T store in Great Neck.

    Customers rushed to help the trapped woman and were able to lift the vehicle off of her.

    The 25-year-old driver told police that she tried to pull into a parking spot near the store, but could not stop her car.

    According to Long Island News 12: The driver was tested for DWI with negative results.  Officials say she has a valid driver’s license.
